brake line routing

I'm swapping out the ABS in my 92 with an updated XJ booster set up. I need to know which ports on the MC go where. I am assuming that the one on the rear of the MC goes to the rear line, correct? Not sure about the front lines, or if it really matters what side they go to. Thoughts?

What did the master cylinder and proportioning valve come off of? Year?
The lines all go to the proportioning valve. Using my '96 as an example- Top two ports go to the M/C, side port on the prop. valve to the right-front brake, first on bottom closest to side port - left front brake, second on bottom- rear brakes.

Not sure of specific year but it is the dual diaphragm set up. I think I get what you are saying.

Yes it does. Thanks for the visual aid. Just need to bend and flare some lines now.
