I know that there is something wrong with the vacuum line going to the booster, because it got way harder to push the brake pedal all of the sudden and I have a high idle. Although, I can't seem to find the booster vacuum hose (or the booster). Here is a pic.

i dont see a brake booster there at all. it would be up against the firewall behind the master cylinder. Maybe Im wrong but from what I can see in the pic it looks as if you have manual brakes. Is that a US jeep?

Yea its a US Jeep. Good thing to know that I wasn't just being stupid. It has power brakes, because I lost power assistance all of the sudden when braking. Anyone have any ideas on what kind of braking system I have?

It's an ABS braking system. Although i'm not very familiar with them i would guess the ABS pump is dying and not allowing the system to work in power mode.

I'd try to Google Jeep Cherokee ABS brake systems.
