Default Bought a Harbor Freight Cen-Tech OBD II code reader

Not bad for $40 after using their 20% coupon. Was looking for something basic to read and clear codes. So far I am happy with it for the price. Got tired of going to Autozone and waiting for someone to come outside and read the code. Had to wait 20 mins one day because they were very busy. I thought I would post up in case anyone has checked this out but didn't want to pull the trigger because it was Harbor Freight. They have a decent return policy so I thought I would try it out.

I did a demonstration video too.

I bought one of these at harbor freight 2 yrs ago.
50% off because it's package was opened. Best 30 bucks I ever spent on a tool.

Nice. Yeah I don't know why I haven't bought one sooner.

For $75, you can get an Innova 3040 which is a code reader AND a scan tool. This is what I use.

Amazon.com: INNOVA 3040 Diagnostic Scan Tool/Code Reader with Live Data for OBD2 Vehicles: Automotive Amazon.com: INNOVA 3040 Diagnostic Scan Tool/Code Reader with Live Data for OBD2 Vehicles: Automotive

View OBDII data as well as freeze frame data.

In my opinion, it was well worth the extra few bucks to get the ability to view all of your engine management data live as well as freeze frame. Helps in troubleshooting more complex issues....

And Innova is a great company.....well established and sure to be around for the long haul.

I have a Warn 2500# winch on my Polaris Razor, at times I wish it was a bit larger also.
