borla header or 01 intake?
From what I found out by searching, the Borla header is a quality piece and the header to get if you can afford it, but it does not jive with 01 intake manifold. So the question is, which would be better performance related, ( one thing to keep in mind is I have a 93 H.O. motor all stock, and when the thing starts to go south I am going to throw a stroked longblock in there) Is the borla header gonna net me the most gains, or use the 01 intake with some other brand of header, but it looks like alot of the headers for the 01 don't come with that "torque tube" or that extension of pipe or whatever it's called and I'd rather not reuse stock piece because I imagine its not mandrel bent and its probably all rusted like the rest of my exhaust which I am replacing.

My guess is if one particular brand was so much better than the next, there would be only one brand left and the rest would fold up. That's why companies spend big bucks on marketing depts........to try to convence everyone that their product is the best. With regard to the late model intake, there's a myth busting article at jpmagazine in which the dyno showed a 5hp DECREASE on their '98 XJ test mule.
