Body Work
I found a water leak on the Passenger side thru the firewall. Where the the evap hose goes thru. Also on the Driver side where the owner before me ran some wires to the starter to to bypass the ignition switch.
I have to replace the passenger side floor or some because I can see the grass. Has anyone here done this before because I want to know what should I do and what should I use?

I just saw a post saying that 16ga. sheet metal works.. tack weld in to place and use caulk on the rest. Some might weld the whole thing but personally I would burn holes in something so thin.. maybe not.. dont know until I try. Also look in to construction adhesive, that stuff will hold a tank made out of anything to anything made out of anything!! LOL Its in a yellow and black tube.. real contractors dont need a flashy package.. ask at Lowes, they will know what I am talking about. Spray rust stop or use a grinder to find food metal and spray with primer then a good strong paint.. any color works.. cant see it.
And if you really want to get fancy:

can you get the metal at lowes also or no?
I have a friend with a meg welder who is pretty good at it, so I wont burn holes in
the metal.
