Blower not blowing...

Help!! Replaced my evap and heater cores about a month ago. Nice and cold in the cabin now. But today the blower just stopped. When I go about 40 and open a window I can feel cold air coming from the vents, but that is only because of the suction of the open window.
How can I get to my blower motor and or resistor?

I replaced the relay for the blower motor and that didn't help. I now know the blower is on the firewall but it seems buried behind the a/c stuff. Is there a way to get it out without having to discharge the a/c system??

Again, 98 4.0L 4door.

On my 90 it's under the hood, on the pass side of course. Also mine has a fuse IIRC....bummer after all that work! Guess if it's cold you can role down the window to suck the heat in? Lol! Good luck....

My 97 Grand Cherokee blower motor and resistor is located under the glove box. Fairly easy to remove if you are a contortionist:icon_cheesygrin:

I also have a simmilar problem. My blower fuse melts when I turn on the AC!

I know when most resiostors fail, the blower still works on high. I also know that most the time the blower motor can be replaced from under the glvoe box.

Blower fuse keeps melting when I run AC

I have a 1992 Cherokee XJ. My blower fuse melts after I run the Ac for a few hours. I repllaced the 25 Amp fuse and my blower works now in all setting (low, and all the way to high). The strang thing is that the AC plug is a single wire that splits to two wires when it gets to the compressor. I have no idea why Fuse melts when I use the AC.
