Default Blower motor shorting out.

Hey guys i did a quick search and came up with nothing that really helped me out so, here i am. THe problem is i keep blowing the fuse for the blower motor. I think a wire has rubbed through and is shorting to ground somewhere. While searching i noticed a trend with the connector for the speed control for the blower melting. Mine is melted but i dont believe that is my issue, when ever i let it sit with the blower motor on it runs fine with no problems. BUT the first bump i hit, boom blows the fuse. Are there any other trouble spots on the cherokees? I really hate electrical work so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Oh and i have already followed the wires as best i could without finding anything obvious....

THanks Bryant.

I'm replacing the switch, plug, and blower motor resistor right now. What kept melting mine was the resistor just above the passenger's feet. I replaced the heater core a while back and must have hit it because it looks rather gnarled. It's behind a plastic cover held in place by a screw and has some wires going into it. If you can get to the wires on your heater controls you can probably follow them to make sure they're not resting on any grounds.
