Default blower motor relay

Hey there, I'm new to this so hopefully I put this in the right spot but....

On a 1986 cherokee where is the blower relay located? There's 2 behind/under jockey box. One is hooked up and the other is mounted just sitting with nothing to plug into it.. the relay I'd my last resort to get my heater to consistently work lol replaced blower and the resistor.. (5 prong resistor was a joke to find!!!) Anyway if anyone has any ideas or input I'd appreciate it more than you'll know.. Heater works fine then shuts off for a few seconds, few minutes. Really never know. This morning it wouldn't even start to blow before work and now it works fine, hope it's the relay

Didn't know they made Cherokees in 1986 (LOL).

Try looking next to the thermostat, above the resistor block.

Confim power is/is not present at resistor next time it acts up.

I'm not sure they had a relay....

When this happens, do your turn signals quit working?

Click on the link below to learn about the blower motor grounding upgrade. Also, wiggle the blower motor plug next time it happens.
