I haven't been able to find it is has one or not. Does anyone know if there is a threaded drain plug for the water jacket on a 2.5L and if so where it is located?

Well I found a drawing of an engine block that may show a plug near the rear of the engine about the same level as the freeze plugs, but nothing is labeled and it isn't a clear drawing. I was hoping to at least find a good photo of a clean engine block but those will be rare lol.

Still looking, will update if I find the answer so if anyone else needs to know it will be here.

Driver side rear of the block. This is an 88. Not mine, just did a Google search.

Thanks so much! I was googling for hours last night and never found that one. That is where is showed it on the drawing but it wasn't clear what it was.

The instructions for the tank block heater says to use that port to install the inlet side water line. Now if I can just get to it.
