blew my rad last night and swamped my interior
went wheelin last night and swamped my jeep in about 3 feet or more of water. rubber floors and padding underneath is unsaveable i think. also i blew out the plastic side of my radiator cause i overheated it and my belt snapped. is motor gonna be ok? also what kind of suggestions do you guys have for a new rad and stuff. wanna get an electric water pump too but cant find one that fits my application. BTW my Jeep is a 1991 XJ.
P.S.- i have a dual electric fan kit overnighted from Quadratec. |

it's the other way around, you overheated because you snapped the belt (no fan, no water pump)... Flush circuit and get a new rad, alu core. Run a switch to disable the lectric fans when you drive in water.

ok. i ordered a Flex Lite dual 12 inch electric fan kit off quadratec and my buddy is giving me an aluminum radiator. where can i find an electric water pump and alternator relocation kit?

ok but that doesnt answer where i can get an electric fuel pump and alternator relocation kit from.
you could easily fit an external marine water pump with a couple of hoses, 12 volts etc.. but i honestly don't see the benefits. alternator relocation: http://www.jeepskool.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2228 |
yeah sorry i was half asleep when i wrote that last post. lol. i did mean electric water pump though.

Probably need to do a bunch of "do it yourself" engineering with regards to an electric water pump for the 4.0L. Here's an option.....

yeah once i figure out how to. lol. i actually made a slight mod to the other kids design. instead of grinding out the a/c compressor mount and all that i just put a square metal plate and bolted that down and bolted the alternator bracket flat to that. i had to modify my hood so it would close but it saved me alot of time grinding and stuff.
