Haines just isnt working for me on this one. I really need a wiring diagram for the headlight switch for a 89 cherokee largedo 4.0L.
I attached a picture of the burnt wire on the headlight switch. It is burned back into the harness wire. You know the one with all the black electric tape...ugh. I need to find out where the wire goes.
I think i found it going up to the multport plug to the instrument panel if it helps.
My thoughts on fixing it was to bypass the burn area and reattach at the place I saw it going to the instrument panel. I dont think its worth undoing all the tape is it?

The reason I started this was because the previous owner (op) had it just hanging there and half the dash unassembled. None of the instruments worked. I did find a 15 amp fuse blown in the box but I had already taken the inst. cluster out. So as you might have detected I have to be the worst electrian in the world so please detailed answer will be greatly appricated .
