Bilstein shocks reoccurring mount issue... (Pic)
Well I had this issue with the shock on the other side of the rear axle.
And I was able to thread that one back in, then everything was great.
Today I hear a funny noise, I go to look and I see this one appeared to be unscrewed from the mount as well.
So simple fix right?
Wrong. The threads are stripped and now the shock shaft will not even stay in the mount.
What are my options here?
I purchased them from Morris Offroad about a year ago.
I am not sure who I can contact about this, Bilstein or Morris?
Or would my best option be to weld maybe? I am searching for suggestions any input is appreciated

I don't know about the end coming off, but those seem inverted compared to what is on my XJ. Mine has the body at the bottom and the bar pin end on the shaft pointing upwards. Does it make a difference which end goes up on shocks?

No, bilsteins mount that way. They're fine.
I'd call Morris first thing in the morning. It's usually the companies job to do the warranty part of it.
Don't welded it.
If they're only a year old Morris should warranty them as that's a workmanship issue.
I'e run Bilsteins forever and never had that happen.
