either lift will fit 31s without trimming, but to run 33's youll have to trim, especially with the 3.5, and 31s will be fine on the stock rims, but the 33s will require new rims due to the backspacing of the stock rim, i think its around 5.75" backspacing? not 100% on that though

Where are you located? I'll install it $, I mean help you with your lack of mechanical skills. LOL. Seriously though do the install yourself. By doing so you will learn more about your rig and how to fix it when you break things. Knowledge is priceless. Everyone started off green.

Sorry about that ..

You should be able to install the lift yourself. Do you have sockets, wrenches, floor jack, jack stands and so on? If so you should be able to do it in your driveway. if not if you have a friend who has a good selection of tools that knows a bit that could help then go that route. If that isn't a possibility find a local shop that can isntall the lift but be prepared to pay out the wazoo..

These stats are my own personal opinion.

31 = 3.5 is perfect. 4.5 is too high
33 = 3.5 MAJOR trimming. 4.5 minor trimming. 5.5-6 perfect/no trimming.

I was quoted 500-600 bucks for 4.5 RE in one of my past jeeps about 4-5 years ago. Then i learned how to wrench myself. Better that way plus more rewarding. Jeep XJ suspension is pretty straightfoward.
