Who has owned theses tires and ran on them. What did you like and dislike about them. Would you recommend them and would you buy them again. What all did you do with them and what was your mpg on them and how many miles you got out of them.

I used to run those on my 2002 Avalanche w/6" lift in a 285/75x16. Loved them. they were great in all conditions. I usally ran on the road and fire-lanes so I never had a problem. They worked great in snow and the small amounts of mud I ran. I would say they are a great all around multi-use tire. As far as mileage, I don't know. I was running that lift, tires and a Hypertec power programmer and still getting 19 MPG on the HWY.

Thank You. I mainly drive on road and some off road. Mainly trails and gravil hills and roads, some mud. I hope it will do what it says on tire rack and what ive heard from others.

I had a used set with 65% + on them. They did very well on rock, snow, gravel and pavement. One of the all time greats. After all, they have had this same design for probably almost 20 years, if not more. Only reason I got rid of my used set was cause I bought new bfg mud terrain km2s that were 32" instead of the 31" in the KOs. I would definitely buy them again, and may go that route when I go to 33s. You probably can't buy a better all around tire.
Benefits:
-last long
-quiet
-good all around traction
-aggressive look

I have these now and have had a set on my Xterra that I got rid of. I only got about 15k on the ones i had on the Xterra, before I got rid of it. the day after I got them a truck lost a load of roofing nail strips, Discount Tire stopped counting when they hit 25 stips. They were replaced because of BFG's own warranty. Sold the tires to a buddy who has since put another 15k on them and they are still looking new, his previous set had 70K on them with heavy wheeling in his WJ. when I turned in my Xterra his 70K BFG's passed the inspection with 5/32 left on the tread. My XJ only has like 500 miles on them so far. Mileage on the Xterra didn't change however it originally had 265/70r16's and the BFG's were 265/75r16's. I run a second set of tires on my XJ thats why so low mils on those. I don't know about mileage on the XJ since I am working out some problems with it anyway but I was getting 15mpg on 215/75r15's and i think 14mpg on the 31 BFG's. again I have been fixing some issues and my most recent fix helped out the power and I currently have the BFG's mounted. As far as durability goes they are strong. BFG has a killer warranty especially if the tire is in like new condition. IMO well worth the money. BFG is the only brand of tire I will ever run.

I love em, im runninn them 30x9.5x15 and i live in the desert, they're great. Only thing i dont like about them is the rain on pavement, although that might be contrabuted to the amount of oil in the road itself. But great overall tire i recommend them

I had a set on my Dakota and got about 70,000 out of them . Pretty good all around tire. Would get them again if I have a need for ATs. Just bought Swampers. A little more aggressive.

Ive had these tires for about 5000 miles and I absolutely love them so far, ive wheeled with em maybe 5 times now on mostly rocky, sandy terrain, and twice in the snow. they're great.
