Prices are going to differ depending on where you live. Go to all the tire shop websites and see what they got. Maybe Pep Boys brand Dakota MT is the cheapest or you can check craigslist

Go on craigslist and get used tires. Deals can be had.

See if you can find these locally. Got mine for a little over $400.

I just had BFG ATs installed for $680 at Discount Tire. I found them cheaper online and they did a price match. That's a total out the door price.

The only thing about buying them online is that you have to pay shipping and to get them mounted and balanced.
Almost two years ago, I got four of the Nexen Roadian A/T II's (made by Cooper) for $148 each (mounted and balanced)+tax and the disposal fee. I used to run a daily newspaper route (rural). It was mostly on-road but had some gravel roads. It never really snowed but when a good storm came along, it'd get messy and the dirt roads would be mush. I've got a little over 60,000 miles on these tires and they've got about one-quarter tread left on them. They're not great in deep mud but they're OK in light-medium mud (red clay mud I have here). |
Look up the GT adventuro m/t pretty cheap but very aggressive mud tire
