My stock 98 XJ battery cables are all corroded and seized up. I replaced my battery about a week ago, and now I am wanting to just get all new cables to install. I am having a hard time finding a solid go to for replacement cables. I have seen a guy named Kelley's WIP but seems the website is down. Not sure if he is still in business or not. Does anyone have any experience with any other cables or which ones everyone is typically using as replacements. Want a decent set of cables that I can rely on. Any help is appreciated.

look up 5-90 on the forum he makes cable sets for what ever you need.

You can buy preassembled battery cables, terminal ends, cable, etc., from these folks. I've used them before.

Odd, I was just on his web site yesterday and it was fine. I emailed him awhile back and he got right back with me.

I found the positive terminal on my battery looked real bad, lots of corrosion and one of the two red cables was eaten about halfway through. For now I cut off the old terminal and put on a replacement, the kind where you strip the end of the cables and clamp 'em on. Probably the entire cable should be replaced though. (The ground terminal was OK, just cleaned it up. Covered both terminals in wheel bearing grease to prevent corrosion.)
