I figured out today that I need to replace my rear shocks. I searched the site for everyone's suggestions.

I'm thinking of getting some Bilstein or Monroes. A few things I did find out were what "model" of shocks to get. Bilstein has the 4600 and 5100 and probably others. Monroe has the sensatrac and reflex. What are the preferred models? This XJ is my DD, so it's going to see 90% on road, and 10% light off roading. I have no lift, this XJ is mostly stock.

Also, where do you purchase these online, who has the best prices?

What is OEM? I also just want a basic shock for commuter use.

Don't get the cheap Monroe's, had a set for about a month hit a speed bump (did not bottom out) and blew the seals out. Went back and got the HD ones no more problems.
