I will say this. do not go to rockauto and get the cheap leftover ones in the warehouse. I bought all 4 shocks and a steering stabilizer for $92 shipped. bad idea. jeep rides rougher than hell now.

Buddy of mine has rough country 2.0's, think they were something like $40 a piece, rides smooth as hell. On the other hand, I was looking at foxx shocks, just wish I could addord them..

Not to jack this thread but same recommendations for the crappy roads in NYC? I do a lot of driving in the city.

I used sensa-trac on a 2 inch lift, the first month after I had put them on the jeep rode like a dream but after that it went back to rough as ****. I don't know if it was the NYC crater littered roads or the fact that I had the shocks for a stock XJ on a 2" lift that wore them out so quickly.

All my stuff is stock. Once I replace with Sensa-Tracs, I never have to do them again.

I just ordered a full set of the Bilstein 4600's, I will see how they feel.

I have Bilsteins and would say they ride rough but at over 40K miles they are exactly the same,

I bought a set of Gabriel Gardians. Not sure how they are, installing them this weekend. Guy at the parts store said they were good. Who knows though, they have to be better then the lumber wagon shocks ive got now.
