at the muffler it is 2 1/4", if your keeping the tailpipe you need an offset, if your just going to run a dump, you wont need the offset

Sorry to thread jack but I didnt want to start a whole new thread. Im wantin to put a flowmaster 40 series on and im wondering if it has to be welded or can I just do it myself and use the pipe clamps????

You can use clamps to get the job done, you may have some leaks though. Nothing a lil muffler putty wont fix. And the factory muffler is center inlet/offset outlet with 2 1/4" piping. You may find that you'll have to cut the old muffler off of the tailpipe though. that's what I had to do when I did my first attempt at an exhaust. It was kinda a pain in the butt but I got it done, I used a cheapo thrush turbo muffler and I got pretty nice tone from that setup.
