Best fan clutch for the money?

I picked up a 4cyl xj fan clutch from Oreilly's for $40 a few days ago.

I'm not sure I would "upgrade" to a plastic-bladed fan in a mud truck. If the blades flex enough when you hit a deep water/mud hole and the clutch is fully engaged, it could take out your radiator.
