best daily driver lift

ok im extremely new to the cherokee scene. never even had a truck or lifted anything. i really like the look of the lifted cherokees. i got a 99 cherokee classic and i wanted to lift it probably the 4.5 kit with a 32 inch tire. ok im not a rock crawler or heavy off roader just lookin for a nice looking lifted ride. also something to pull the boat in the summer. so with that being said what is the best/cheapest kit to go with. leaf kit? full suspension kit? what else would i need other than just the lift kit? control arms? new suspension peices to go with the 4.5 inch kit? a newbie to the scene. thanks for any help

i have a RC 4.5 inch lift and some 31s that look sweet. 32s are also good and look sweet.

If your going to be towing a boat or anything else, FULL SUSPENSION!! I'm new to the XJ seen myself. I have a ZJ with a RE 3.5" and its my DD and toy, im also building a XJ to be just my rig. My RE lift is great on and offroad, but i have herd that add-a-leafs will sag very fast. I would just go full suspension. What size of lift are you looking for though?

i like the look of the 4.5 lift with 32' tires. its a small boat little jet boat. but i wouldnt be doing much off roading at all. mainly just a lift for looks so i mean im not worried about going all out on top of the line lift kits. jsut something that will be good looking and not getting much abuse. what kit would you recommend and is there anything else i would need with the kit???

SYE and possibly a better drive shaft if you so desired
you could just get a T-case drop kit

would i need a better drive shaft or t-case drop kit. again not doing much if any off roading. just for a good looking lift on a DD. trying to do it as cheap as possible just lift and tires if that is possible.

transfer drop kit for sure, its cheap way to go, and since your not doing a lot of wheeling you'd be fine. look at the ones on quadratec.com

i'm in the same boat as you, i believe 4.5" lift with 32's looks the best.. i would go with the full spring pack lift if your going to be towing because the add a leafs will sag faster... 3" with 31's is a better economical choice for everyday driving as it will stick look good and you'll get alil bit better gas mileage with it but i think the 4.5" is worth it thats what i plan on doing

youd be fine with just a rough country 3 inch lift, at 3 inches you shouldnt need anything else besides what the kit comes with, 4.5 kits are nice but its alot more work, and sometimes you have to buy an adjustable track bar or SYE, the add a leafs are cheaper but they usually end up sagging later on.
