Default Best bumper for the money

Well, I am not crazy about off-road. So even OEM bumpers will work for me as far as the price is reasonable. Where I can get some cheap yet functional bumpers for my XJ?

JCR makes an amazing bumper.. The quality was really good and bolted right up... The 14-17 day waiting period is a fking joke though.. It took about alittle over 5 weeks. They said they were in the middle of moving into a new warehouse while my order was being processed so It took alittle longer than normal. Since I wasn't driving the truck due to being in another country it didn't matter much to me. It's my luck for something like that to happen anyway. I searched around for about 3 weeks looking for a good bumper and JCR was the best bang for the buck.. I've hit 2 goats, a large rock, and 2 cars that decided to just pull out instead of stopping and looking.... The goats exploded, the rock won, and the 2 cars are mangled, one totalled. The only thing wrong with my bumper is I had to paint it.. I got the extra tie in brackets too so it's attached in 10 points on my frame.. I just painted it last week and it looks brand new.. They are also offering 20% off right now SO I would definitely jump on that asap... Tell em I sent you, they might gimme a discount on their new XJ trail armor.

I didn't see the promotion of 20% off on their website, could you provide the promotion code or a link to it?

Thanks.

You hit 2 cars and two GOATS? LOL, that's the most random thing I can think of. (To hit and see explode!)

Remind me never to ride with you!

You forget where I live lol.. There's wild goats, cows, and dogs all over the roads. With no street lights and very windy roads, you can come around a turn and come up on a random goat in the middle of the night no problem. Lots of cars get totalled here due to cows and goats in the middle of the road at night.. I'll post a picture I have at home once I leave work.

Oh and the cars... People pull out in blind spots all the time or cut you off on purpose. No traffic laws + no cops = crap driver ethics... Insurance companies don't do anything for you here either. They will always try to figure some loop hole not to get you paid and you cant take em to court because they have the cops/judges in their pockets. 3rd world countries are very very corrupt. The only thing I'll put money into my xj now is armor..

yes but not everyone has the tools/ability to do so...

I have been checking our JCR bumpers for some time. Glad to see they are continuing to expand thier XJ products.
