Best aftermarket Manifold?

Did a search and didn't see any recommendations. It is time to swap out my son's exhaust manifold. The notorious crack has appeared. About the only one I can find at local parts stores is the Dorman made one for $170. I have seen some on the internet, but I am always leary of the internet. I saw one stainless steel for $70 or less. Should I be worried about buying one that is supposed to be stainless steel for only $70?? What is a fair price for a decent manifold that will last 100k miles? Just curious what most of your experiences have been and if you can point me in the direction of a good deal that won't cost more than $100.

Dorman is your best bet. Anything else is cheap chinese junk that will just crack again.

I went with the dorman on both my XJs (98 and 99). The expansion bellows keeps it from cracking.

I went with the ATP. So far so good. Check your engine and transmission mounts because if they are sagging that vibration will transfer to your new manifold.

I have the Dorman and it's been good.

I went with the Dorman and the flange was not thick enough. I tacked on washers to give it the right height.

I just installed an ATP challenge y header last night and I have the opposite problem, the flange of the header is too thick to seal the intake properly. Not sure if I should get out the grinder, try some type of shimming or maybe sandwich the intake port areas of another gasket on
