bell crank on hood

bell crank on hood
last week I installed 2 new hood latches what a project lol because both bolts broke off. My question is installing the new bellcrank its all rusty and i cant see how its mounted. any ideas how to remove it and install new one thanks.

why not just spend ten bucks on the cool hood pins. get rid of the bellcrank all together and just keep the front hood latch. you can get them on summit. i orderd some the other day and just came in. simple. thiers a write up on here about how to do it. where i got the idea from. and you have to drill the rivets out. heres a link for the hood pins https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/ho...rite-up-27175/

I see the bell crank is riveted on. I bought a new one and want to know if a standard rivet can be used to install it.

- bell crank is attached via rivets. Google a video on riveting and then rent a rivet gun at Autozone.
