So I just referred to the "Before you can own a XJ" manual as a joke on another thread. But joking aside, i dont think that I have seen one and it may come in hand for all those that may want to purchase an XJ, but are uncertain of what they are getting into before hand. Lets just put things happen to XJ owners or stuff that all the XJ's do.

So here it is . . . The Official "Before You Buy A XJ" manual.


-If you do not like oil leaks in your drive way . . . dont buy a XJ

-If you prefer a "BMW" ride quality . . . dont buy a XJ

Ive never had oil leaks in any of my 6 XJ's.

Well you are damn lucky then. If you dont have oil sludge anywhere on your engine or in your engine bay, then you are probly the only one. Congrats!

Valve cover, fixed it. Jeeps arent any more prone to oil leaks than any other vehicle.

But ill stop now, haha, back to your manual thing.

-If you dont know how to replace sensors....dont buy an XJ

-if you don't know how to use a voltmeter/ohmmeter... don't buy a Rennix Jeep

If you like having money....don't buy an XJ

If electrical "isn't your thing"....don't buy an XJ

If speed "is your thing".... Please don't buy an XJ!

if u dont like fabracating...Dont buy an XJ
If u dont like scratches..You DO NOT need to buy an XJ!
If you dont like dents.. You DO NOT need to be an XJ!

If you like being able to reach anything under the hood don't buy one

Other than that dont buy a XJ if you dont want to get the addiction to buy more.
