Beep beep Jeep horn became a meep meep jeep horn?
Something odd happened today lol. I went to go lock my jeep today and my horn suddenly went meep. So i went to do it again thinking it was a mistake and sure enough... Meep! Then i went to go honk the horn and its in a way higher pitch than usual now. What would cause this? Can i fix it? I dont like the fact my jeep has a Kia horn on it now lol.

Usually it's rust on the diaphragm. Stuff a rag in it and beep beep beep a hundred times or so, and it may come back.
Otherwise, just replace it.

Go to the junkyard and find the BIGGEST Cadillac out there. The big old Caddys had 4 horns, yes 4. Easy swap, very minor wiring modification. Very satisfying deep sounding horn without being obnoxious.

While i like the idea of the caddy horn, i kinda grew fond of my jeep horn lol. If it was a different car then i would but my horn is kinda special sounding to me. I know weird but its the little things lol. Where is the horn located? and would going through flooded roads cause damage to it?

I installed my Caddy horns after I drowned mine. After crossing some deep water mine died over the course of three days. The stock location is behind the bumper on the driver's side. I installed the Caddy horns beside the airbox, if the water gets that high I have a different problem!

Yep. Big time. Rust on the diaphragm. Repeated use can clean it up, hence my advice to go to town on it.
The comment about the connectors is right on the money, too. Disconnect, clean it up, and fill it with dielectric grease before you reassemble it.

If someone is doing something that deserves my horn, I want it to be obnoxious. Some of these morons around here really need a good bowel-loosening fright to eject their heads from their asses.

That's what freight train horns are for!
I think this guy has the right idea. The good stuff is at the end.
