Default Turning Radius

I have noticed my XJ turns a lot better than my wifes s10 Blazer. Just for giggles I researched the wheelbases of various vehicles and the turning radius. I could not find a turning radius for the Blazer to compare. But check out the Cherokee radius compared to the Chevy Cavalier. I thought that was pretty impressive.

Make/model wheelbase turning radius
99 Jeep Cherokee 101" 17.9'
09 Ford Escape 103" 18.3'
00 Chevy Suburba 130" 21.7'
05 Chevy Cavalier 104" 17.8'
10 Ford Edge 110" 18.8'
01 Hummer 130" 26.5'
97 Geo Metro 93" 15.7'
05 GMC Envoy 113" 18.2'
05 Jeep Liberty 104" 17.9'
08 Toyota FJ 106" 20.9'
05 Toyota 4runner 110" 18.7'

I appears the Cherokee/Liberty has one of the best turning radius in it's class.
But check out the FJs radius.. The suburban has 2' more wheelbase but only 1' bigger radius. The FJ has 2" long wheelbase than the Liberty but 3' bigger radius.

Is this swap supposed to provide more steering angle? I dont believe it will. Steering stop to steering stop isnt going to change with a different box.

naw... the durango box has a larger piston and is easier to turn because it moves the fluid more... said to rock crawl with one finger... then the snow plow package has better gears... as in if you turn the wheel one turn... your wheels are turned as far as they will go... so its a really nice upgrade... mines slipping gears and i cant turn left hardly anymore and i can turn really far to the right... lol... so im all about upgrading if i have to fix it anyway... there are write ups already on this but i plan to do my own because im going to make my own frame stiffner while im at it... the mod calls sticking small spacer in between the box and frame but im going to run a large chunck of steel to make sure the bolts dont pull through like they so often do... you can buy these but its crazy not to just get a chunck of steel... drill some holes and done... and i think its better then little spacers or stacked washers... but other then that the lines, steering stem, mounting holes and everything else works perfect... also in searching you can use a gear box from a 99 dakota or durango but the durango is the only model with snow plow... may as well go all the way... after i know for sure mines shipped ill let yall know where i got it... $125 shipped...
