Default Bastard pack questions

I am thinking of using S-10 springs and either longer coils or spacers in the front to level the jeep. Basically I want as much lift as I can get without messing with the drive shafts. Which year S-10 springs if that matters and any lists of the necessary parts you would recommend would be appreciated.

Thanks for that link it gave me some ideals.

I'd still like to hear more about the S-10 springs from someone who's used them already.

You should be okay with up to 4" of lift, but not all XJ's are created equal. Sometimes a T-case drop kit will work instead of running a SYE, but you dont know until you try it.

So I guess the S-10 springs are the correct length and all I might need are good quality extended shackles and new bolts? No need to add or remove springs from the way the come off of the S-10 at a junk yard?

You are going to have to take the s10 pack apart. If you want a straight bolt in set of leafs. Look for a dodge van anywhere between the 70's to the 90's. They are a little longer, so your shackle angle will be better.
