the funny thing is i was suppose to go look at a car today i wonder if the jeep got mad at me!
I have full coverage through state farm and i'm pretty sure its covered under comprehensive. but the question is will i have to pay the deductible...
also kinda funny i needed to paint my hood and roof anyways and the DAPO scratched the windshield with the end of the wiper pretty deep...
so i guess it only damaged the already needed to be worked on spots?

Default dude I feel your pain

so over christmas break I was taking a nap around 3, (work wore me out), and we were having some really strong wind up here in Oregon. pooped my pants at the noise it made, looked out my window and freaked. main damage was mirror and windshield, but insurance or homeowners wouldn't cover any. Don't get me wrong, my jeeps already a heap, but this just doesn't help. Jeep would have been totaled if I parked in my normal spot. Check it out:

Comp will cover and you will have to pay the deductable (used to be an insurance adjuster) Similar thing happened to my 1970 Chevelle Malibu, it was parked at my grandmas under a carport that was there for 50 some years. The one year I park my car under it the weight of the little snow we had caused it to fall on top of the car!!!

Damage wasnt bad, small dent in hood and roof, never got it fixed just kept the money (thats when detroit knew how to build cars!)

I'm not sure, but I think this may be covered under your(parents) homeowners insurance since it fell off of the house. I would definitely check, worst thing they can say is No.
