i recently heard a clunking noise front the front when i was turning sharp. my first thought was to be the u joints so i took the front drive shaft out. but when i grabbed the yoke i could turn it back n forth and still hear what sounded to be thhe noise. and i also have a leak around the pinion seal i noticed so could it be the bearing?? need so much needed advice!

 

and i just took the front ds out and it still makes the noise..seems to be worse when i turn left.
