BACK SEATS!
 

hey guys
i was just wondering a couple things
1. how do you remove the back seats of an xj?
2. would it be possible to purchase another pair of front seats to put back there? :help:

you will need a torx-44 to remove the back support portion. the bottom flips up and then unlatches from the passenger side and just pulls right out. you will have to get the seat out and look for clearance as to what you can fit in there. i would go for some aftermarket bucket seats

Sounds like it could actually be a cool idea! i think im going to tackle this myself this weekend!

If any of y'all actually do this, please keep the small parts!! I need them. I'm actually putting a back seat INTO mine. I'll need all the little mounting plates and nuts/bolts/brackets. I also will end up needing to get the seatbelts too since the XJ I just bought had all that stuff removed by the previous owner!

if you try it post pics and let me know how it goes. ive been considering it for awhile but im just learning about cars so i didnt want to jump right into it.

Try a JY. Went the other day and there were 8 or 9 to choose from, most all had their back seats.

i have heard that you can take seats out of a zj and put them in the back with a little bit of cutting but i havent tried it yet
