Default Axle upgrades

I am going to upgrade my axles wanna do some diff covers, lockers, and gears. I am running 35s and dont know whether to go with 4.56 or 4.88 and it is my dd. The lockers, i was looking at doing some lock-rights just because of the price or just going all out and doing detroit lockers. than i was going to do some Riddler diff covers. Wanted some opinions on the lockers and gear ratios. Also is this something i can do my self i have seen it done on shows like extreme 4x4 but i don't think that qualifies me, just wondering if i could do this as it being my first time doing gears and lockers or just have it professionally done.

Than i was looking at doing some chromo shafts and saw they had 29 spline shafts, can i pull my 27 spline shafts and buy the 29 spline locker and shafts than convert mine to a 29? I was wondering if that was possible?
