Axle swap - Quick Question!
Looking to put an axle from an 86 2.8 cherokee into my 99 cherokee, will this be an unbolt/rebolt job or will major fabbing be required?

Front axle or rear axle? Either one will bolt in, but the front will be a vacuum disconnect axle (not really a big deal), and the rear will be a Dana 35 (not worth having imo, Chrysler 8.25 or Ford Explorer 8.8 are much better, and the 8.25 bolts right in).

id go with the 8.8 as well.they need some fab work tho, new perches and shock mounts (gives you a chance to get beefier mounts and set your pinion angle) I am actually searching for one for my rearend what would be the best gearing for it? I will regear the 30 up front as well
