AW4 transmission pan bolts
Hey all,
I, by accident, threw away my bolts to the transmission pan while getting rid of some rusty things. I know the size is 10mm but what is the length of them? Can't seem to find out that detail! |
I have extra that I can mail out to you probably tomorrow or Thursday. Is that ok?
|
The head size is 10 mm but the threads aren't.
|
Possibly 8mm x 1.25. But not sure

I like using socket heads and flat washers - it's easier to stab them through the pan when you can see what you're doing without a socket in the way... Using LocTite #222 is advisable - you may also use fingernail enamel, touch-up paint, or (my favourite for this) RTV. The advantage to RTV on screw threads? You can nip them up, if you didn't get them all the way, without having to back it out and reapply. (Yes, you put it on the screw threads.) |

M6-1.0x10 or 15mm. Get twenty (I think you actually need 17.)
