AW4 TC locks up in 3rd but not in OD
98 Jeep Cherokee SE 4.0 4x4 with the AW4 trans 300k+
In the past I have lost TC lockup all together and it ended up being the TCC solenoid. Now I have an issue where the TC will lock up in 3rd, but as soon as I shift back to OD it seems to drop down to 3rd (Rpms go up). It's as if I am losing TC lockup and 4th(OD) as well. So at the moment, it shifts fine till warmed up. Then out of nowhere when in OD, it downshifts to what feels like 3rd. So I shift to 3rd, the TC locks and I run at a lower RMP than in OD. I know there were two other solenoids when I dropped the pan to change the TCC solenoid. So Given her age and miles, and the fact I replaced a similar solenoid, would suggest one of the other solenoids are the culprit? I just don't know which one it may be.
Also, I have changed the TPS, and I'm not throwing any codes.
