Aux Engine Temperature Gauge

Did the gauge swap in my XJ and love it. My dad, on the other hand is not interested in having to deal with adjusting his ODO so he wants to install a secondary temp gauge in his 96 XJ, SE package (dummy lights).

Where should we get the parts and how do you do the install?

Thanks,
s

For the water temp you would just buy an electronic gauge with a sending unit and thread it into the Thermostat housing.
Something like this would work, and the sending unit is included:

Normal temp is 210, so a 250* gauge should be fine.

Since he has '96 (OBD-II), consider getting a ScanGauge........it's a little more spendy but so much more versatile. Simple plug-in install to the ALDL port under the dash and it can be moved from one vehicle to the next ('96 and up).
