Default Automatic to Manual.

does anybody know if there are any conversion kits out there for xj auto to manual? more specifically a clutch pedal, bracket, master and slave.

None that i know of...

Your best bet is just to get a donor vehicle and a lot of fab skills... or just an new XJ

well this one was free. and it's my spare vehicle. so i don't wanna dump bucket loads of money at it.

I know i wish mine was a manual. There are rally shifters. Im not sure were but they have them

well, it wouldn't be hard to fab something. i mean you can start off with just any old clutch pedal, mount it, set a cable clutch for now, get a new flywheel, and just use a tranny from 5 speed donor. my only problem is that i dont know if the computer from automatic truck is getting any signals from the transmission that can throw a code when replaced with 5 speed.

There is even more then that. New drive shaft. Fabing up a center console for the shifter. There is some more stuff. I would just get a manual.... i'm sure with all the parts and time it will be just as easy to buy a new jeep. But because its not your DD it would be a very cool project and something to brag about.
