Automatic Headlights
My headlights (more like running lights) always come on. I want to know if there's a way to keep them off until I decide to turn my lights on. 98 Cherokee limited.

The headlights come on at half power any time the vehicle is running, they're called Daytime Running Lights, it's some mandatory safety feature.
IIRC, theres a relay that you can just bend a prong on to eleminate the DRL's coming on, but your headlights still work like normal, I did this on another car of mine, I'll have to find if it's the same dealio on jeeps.

Try this, it's for TJ's, but it might be the same for us. Just for CYA, read the warning at the top of the page (That's more like covering my *%&)...
