Default auto wiring in manual cherokee

Does anyone know if a wiring harness out of a 1993 automatic would work in my 1993 manual cherokee? Having trouble finding a manual harness.

i think that there are a few small differences, but i have never really looked into it very far. I know the backup light switch would be different, not sure if there would be anything else

You would have to find a way to trick the ecu into seeing proper operation of the NSS...

Or you could use your old ECU and not have to trick it at all. The differences would be minor and easily remedies if you know how to splice wires. The only differences I can find in the tech book are in the tranny.

ok got the harness in and there were about 3 extra plugs, even one that was supposed to go though the firewall I guess. I turned the key and absolutely nothing happened! Triple checked every plug. Then I remembered the NSS and used a jumper wire between posts and after an hour of testing I jumped post B-C and the jeep I got for 800 bucks is running like a champ! Thanks for the help guys.

That is probably the clutch cancel switch. No big deal tho.
