its possible. a buddy of mine did it this summer. but this post is not helping you one bit He had one jeep with the auto and another with the manual trans and just swaped parts over.

haha your post helped me out, i am just wondering did he have to do any electronic mods? and was it hard to do the clutch pedal? and how long did it take your friend?

Clutch and brake pedals both need to be changed.
As to electronics just the TPS needs to be changed to install a stick vs an AW-4. No feedback required to the ECU to help control the AW-4 any longer so that is the reason for the stick version of the TPS.

Actually i think you would need the whole drive train up to the diff ratios.
That means flywheel, clutch, clutch pedal, master and slave cylinders, brake pedal, stick mount, bell housing, gearbox, tail extention, mounts, drive shafts (both), rings and pinions (if the ratio is different), a ton of bolts and depending on what model of transfer case you have you might need that one as well.

holy crap ya i was thinking, trans, cross member, fly wheel, clutch kit, I have the np242 so i would go with the np231 with sye, so t-case skid, rear cv driveline, front cause i think the length between the diff and the np231 is diff?? brake a clutch pedal, and the odds and ends.
