Aussie Locker for front axle D30
I'm wondering if this idea is possible / practical. I've got the D35 and D30 on my daily driver. Lockers are really cool for mud, and I've been looking at the automatic aussie lockers. I've been reading that no lockers are really good for the D35. Now if I were to put one only on the front D30, would that make any sense? When off road I could put it into 4wd and at least the front wheels would be locked. Also when in 2wd I'd have no issues.
Just a thought let me know.

I'd do it. In fact if money permitted, I'd already have one in the front

From what I have heard, if you gonna pick one or the other on a DD with a lunchbox type locker front is prefered because it undetectable in 2wd. I also heard that a front locker does better pulling than a rear would pushing.

One good thing about putting the locker in the rear is that you will usually make it further in 2wd than you would before. But I too have the 35 and know its not worth putting a locker in it, so I say throw one in the front and aussie is a good choice.
