That's not due to the lift. You're running stock wheels with wider tires and no spacers. It's all about the backspacing. I have 4" or lift and 31s with 1.25" spacers and can turn fully and tucked from flexing with no rubbing issues.

Ya.. When I repainted and stuck it on, I don't think I used enough glue. It's been floating around in the console for years now. Thinking if repainting again and changing color. Was originally "Black Cherry". The yellow is Valspar Safety Yellow. Used a roller to apply. lol. It's a hassle to buff/wax every 3 months to keep it shiny. Might strip, redo some body work and shoot with a 2 part auto paint this time.

Bwahahahah funny you say this. My wife got me a decal that says beer with the jeep grill logo. When I first looked at it I thought it just said jeep. She was like, why would I buy a decal that says jeep to put on your jeep.

Damn, that looks good for a roller paint job!

Sorry to derail the thread...
Thanks! It was a "project"... Have TONS of pics. I should make a thread someday.. 22 coats of paint. Wet sanded between coats. Final 2000 grit, hand polished and had waxed. Never owned an electric buffer. I should get one.
The day I brought her home. $150 on Craigslist. Needed a new battery and exhaust at the time..

During: Fixed LOTS of rust. It's cheaper to buy a 4x8 sheet of 20GA steel for patching than just small pieces. Killed a cheapo MIG welder too. Ended up using my old flux core at the end.. ugh

WHAT HAVE I DONE!! First coat.. UGLY..

After:

How she is after my bastard pack lift but before I bought the new 31s..

Again, sorry for the derail..

Sense I'm kinda a newbie to Jeeps and stuff, I would think it would be better to get a 2-3" lift and some wheel spacers first to prevent rub

I'm running 31s on the stock steel rally wheels and get rubbing on the front control arms at full lock. I am putting some Trail Master TM5 15x8s hoping to eliminate the rubbing with the different back spacing.
The Trail Master TM5 wheels stopped the rubbing at full lock but the more positive offset wheel now causes rubbing over bumps or when loaded heavy. I have ordered a Pro Comp 3" lift and should be done with all tire concerns after it is installed
