I'm not even going to comment on how stupid i think those are. As far as sealing them. tape and silicone sealent. Tape off what you don't want the sealant on, lay a bead, wipe the extra off and peal the tape while its not yet cured.

The concept is sound and a good idea if you are out at night (or need to get under your truck at night so see what the H$*& you hit/broke..
Id rather pay a bit more and have something that will last..
I know how to install crappy ones..
I want to know where to get good ones at a value (without the strobe option)

I never said I actually liked these specifically.. they are not for show and they are not for parking lots.. these even have strobe feature(!) so I am almost avoiding them based on I have to look myself in the mirror and I might have to hick my own *%@.. If I ever accidentally turned the strobes on..

There she is. Keep in mind it now has a proper lift and no rear bumper :P
I've got a bunch of little cosmetic things that are starting to bug the crap out of me. One of these days i'm gonna do a full-detailing and fix all of them.

That truck looks deeply loved! Nothing wrong with that.. Proper lift? Sounds like you spent some money on her.. hope she returned the favor
I'll get some more pics up when it gets out of the garage.. welding up the lower track bar brace reinforcement.. installing a budget bumper ($190, looks like a $500+).. then its off the the drive shaft shop..
Ill get pics up.. I cant wait.. "The Never Ending Build" will live again... !!!

I spent $260 on OME packs for the rear, plus $140 for Nitro 9000s all around, and $40 on RC 3" coils up front. And yes, a proper lift. the previous owner had 6" long shackles on the rear and coil spacers up front. not spring spacers but those $20 POC things from autozone that actually spread individual coils apart to gain you some lift.

I'm not sure I like this set up, but it is cheap.
Here is an article for a similar set up
