Anyone have any UOA'S??
I try to read up on UOA's but I can't find many UOA's from jeep Cherokee owners.. I have not run any as of yet on this jeep but will in a few thousand miles. If you have a UOA(used oil analysis) please post the results and oil type. Thanks..

What would my results prove? You need to get a clean sample and a used sample to a lab and they will tell you whether the used oil is degraded to the point that it needs to be changed. They can also tell you if any of the particulate is metallic and what it may be from. (Plus a bunch of other stuff that is less applicable to automotive than industrial applications.)

Your results would be used to see how the oil performed in the 4.0. I feel that would be pretty useful since we all can go buy all the same brands. I understand that UOA's can be/are used to tell when you need to change the oil but they also have a lot of other great info in them.
