any suggestion on how to fix fuel door?

Default any suggestion on how to fix fuel door?
I have a 94 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 l. I bought it about 6 months ago and noted when I purchased it that the fuel door would not stay shut. I have lived with it for a while but it is getting annoying to have it flap open all the time. I know what the problem is. Attached are two pictures the first one is my fuel door (inside) look and another one with the part that I think keeps the door closed in a green rectangle. There are no junked Cherokees in my area so I can't find the part and my local dealer is not much help. Any/all suggestions to replace this part would be appreciated.

Peel that rubber bumper off and replace glue a small magnet in it's place.
