Default any opinons

Ok, first off Im new to the foru, and somewhat new to building a jeep for offroading. I have a 1995 Jeep Yj that has a total of 7 inches of lift and 33's. I just bought a 1987 Cherokee, it already had a 3 inch skyjacker lift on it and I was wanting to put another 2.5 or 3 inch uder it. I want to run 33x10.5x15 Boggers so what would look the best and be the cheapest since its already got a 3 inch suspension lift? Also What gears should I run? I have been reading and most of the ones I have seen run 4.56 gears. Would that be the best? Also what type of locker in the rear? Anyinfo on ANYTHING you can tell me about my jeep or what I should do would be appreciated. Alos it has to be somewhat cheap. Im a senior in Highschool and I sell firewood and mow grass. but hopefully Ill be working at a local ATV dealer asap. Also if you guys need to know anything about a 4x4 ATV ask me. Im into fourwheelers about as mud as some of you guys are into jeeps. I had a Grizzly 660 that had 12,000 in it. Took me 4 years of saving and buying to get it built. Like I said ANYTHING will be appreciated. Also what is the best way to put a snorkle on it?

Why do you want to run so much lift with just 33's?

On the XJ the higher you go the more its going to cost you.

For 33's I would run 4.56s. If you want an auto locker look into the aussie locker, lockrite, or detriot. If you want a selectible locker look into ECTED and ARB.

What rear end do you have? If you have the d35 I would ditch it before putting any money into it.

I think itS A 44. mY jEEP IS A 87 so thats what I looked around and think it is. How much do you think I would need to clear 33's compltely.

I wasn't thinking I forgot about your year Are you sure its a 44?

Your going to have to trim regardless, but I would run about 4.5" on 33's if I ran 33's.

Alright, then you will be fine putting money into it. The 35 you have to be worried about.

whoa? theres yj's out there with 7" of lift for 33's?

you can comfortably fit those 33's with the lift you have now.

a select few 87-89's have the dana44, just because those are the only years it came in, i won't assume its what you have. look under there, if the cover is round you have a dana35, if its full o angles, you have a rare 44.

Yes, like I said its a 44 lol. I found some pics yesterday morning and made sure i was. Now What is in the front? anybody have any pics of what it could be so I could check. Does anyone have any locker for a 44 for sale or 4.56 gears. I need some pic so I can see what front anxle I have so I can get gears for it also. And yea 7 inchs on a YJ I put it in my sig wrong it a 4 inch suspension (leaf's) and 3 inch body. And at full turn either way they rub. Ill try to get some pics and show you guys. Also I had another question. How do yins run your snorkles? Do you move the windshield wipe fluid container forward? Thats the only way I can see to do it and have the hose comin out on the back side of the fenderwell.

I dont offroad it. Road only. Also it isnt as topheavy as you would think it is. That is fast turns on roads and such. Will I have to worry about the 30 breaking? And are you positive its a 30? Got any pics so I can make sure? Thanks

not sure about your snorkely situation, do you plan on making or buying a snorkel?

That is very surprising that its a 44 witha 2.5 engine, I thought they only came on the 4.0s? (or what every V6 they were using earlier on i forget i wanna say like 4.2 or something)
