Any ideas

I was wondering I any had any ideas on this. I have a 99 cherokee sport. I has a bang or clank once in a while when I first take off. Sometimes it feels as if the engine lowers. If hu know what I mean. Could this be the u-joints or maybe the motor mounts? It has 150000 miles and I just picked it up. Any help would be great.

Check the u joints, or the splines in your yoke could need to be greased. There is a good write up on that somewhere in the forum. I'm on my phone at work or I'd try to search it for you.
