Another heater thread

I've replaced t-stat, water pump and flushed heater core both ways many times. The blend door works freely. I get slightly warm air. The hose going into the core is hot, the return hose is not.
Obviously sounds like the core is plugged. I can get water and air through it with out a problem. Is there a chance it is airlocked?
I can't see replacing the core,as it's not leaking.
I've done searches on here, but am still looking for help.
Thanks.

Sounds like the heater core is almost plugged off........thus passing only a small amount of hot coolant. On a free flowing heater core, BOTH hoses will be VERY hot.

This may sound ridiculous, but check your heater hoses for blockages. Both of my hoses were completely plugged.

If 5/8" and/or 3/4" hoses were plugged, what else was plugged?

I can get the garden hose to pass right through. That's my whole issue. I don't think there's a blockage. That's why on guessing an airlock. I'm gonna try the CRL idea tomorrow. Can't be any worse I guess

If water from the garden hose is passing right thru, there's no way that water is not pushing air out.

Be advised, the CLR website says "do not use CLR in an automotive cooling system".

It's the hose.
