Am I Missing Something Here?
I just changed a left front tire that was flat and this allowed me to inspect the front suspension of my 92 two-wheel drive Jeep Cherokee. I was wondering if there is supposed to be some kind of rubber bumpers somewhere that help cushion the shock when the suspension bottoms out? Enclosed are a few pictures if someone that knows can take a look and tell me if everything there is allright. Thank you.

Yes there should be some bump stops on the top.

Oh, wow, now I see. Thank you very much. What holds them in there?

They just pop into that tube that's inside the spring and are held in by tabs on the inside of the tube. Eventually they dry out, shrink, and fall out.

Thanks, I'll get on it soon.
