Default allright... I've got "the bug"

I'm a bit ashamed... I've been shopping for lift kits and 31" tires

So the list is now:

4 x 4 conversion
2" lift with coils and leaf packs (RE seems to be the best choice so far)
31" dual-duty tires (BFG's since it's still a DD)

I knew this would happen eventually

The bug has bitten another unsuspecting victim. Welcome to our world. If you need some extra hands to turn wrenches let me know, I'm close by.

Cool... thanks

It would be nice to work with someone instead of for someone.

I would also get a extra large pack of earplugs for the neighbors children. I can fill a swear jar real fast wrenching on a Jeep.

Welcome! I've been bitten also. You might want to pick up a large box of band aids and neosporin for your knuckles after wrenching. These things are made of razor sharp tin.

I'm really trying to control myself... and you come in here and suggest an even b-i-g-g-e-r lift.

evil, man... just evil.

I'm doing a short-lift and cut fenders. It's easier and cheaper for me to saw the fenders than doing the transfer case drop, slip-yoke eliminator, track bar, driveshafts, etc...

So far I have less than $800 in my XJ, including the purchase price.
